Does anyone have ant information on The Timber Point Country Club? Food, Service? I know it's run by Lessings which I heard mixed reviews about. Thanks ladies for your help in advance!

My friend is getting married there this October the prices are great and I heard the renovations are awesome.
A client came in the other day and said that she went to a wedding there and it was great!

I'm getting married there - it is SO beautiful since the renovations have been completed so definitely don't go by the website pics.... The pricing is good, depending on when you're getting married. I have a sat night in june so it's more, but I know that off-season and a different day of the week, it's much less. You should go check it out soon though because I know they're raising the prices since they've renovated. I've heard nothing but great things about Lessings....the food is supposed to be amazing. What mixed reviews have you heard?

I'm getting married there in 11 days....what do you want to know? I've heard nothing but good things about the food and service. The food at the expo was phenomenal!! Our experience thus far has been wonderful!!

I'm getting married there this June (good Lord) and they just redecorated it and it looks great - IMO it is reasonably priced and I love the view and the location. The food is good (though the last tasting I went to was OK, not great, so I'm a little nervous) and it comes with a lot of stuff (centerpieces from florist, you can bring your own liquor if you don't like what they offer and they don't charge you for it) and I think they're reasonable to deal with. They also have a pretty good selection of vendors to work with, so they don't charge you for their meals and you get discounts with their photo/video people and DJ. I highly recommend the place.

I've heard that Lessing's wedding cordnaters can be king of rude. I dont know who specificly but who knows. I will deffinatly look into it. Thank you all for your replys. It really helps! Food is a big part for me were all Italian.

It depends on who you are dealing with, at Timber Point, you want to deal with Ben or Michael Lessing, NOT LENORE! there is a new girl, April...she has been a Maitre'D but is trying her hand at sales. She's nice.
