does anyone know ...(furniture)

where i can find a small dinning room table (dinette set). The room is very small. I went to the larger furniture stores today on 110( Levits, Seamans, All wood). No one really had what I was looking for. Most are way too big and formal.

Any ideas?

There's lot of 'dinette' stores on Long Island (Lake Grove, Centereach, Westbury)

I'd suggest trying the dinette stores too. The ones in Westbuy are mostly along Old Country Rd. (across from the Source and down east of there).

IKEA ... I don't always like their stuff, but they have small dinette tables for dorms & stuff. Those are pretty cool too, they have alot of different designs.

What about Gothic Cabinet Furniture(sp?) In West Hempstead on Hempstead Turnpike? They have a lot of funky items, too.

I don't know if you are looking for higher quality, but since we know we'll be in small apartments at least for the time being, we bought this one from target.

i'm also looking for a small dining set. my dining area is small & i'd like a formal dining room table to go there. i'd need apartment size. & a place for my china.

i haven't found a thing so far.
