Does anyone know how many lbs per person a Prime Rib is suppose to be? What is the ratio of lbs to cooking time?

well how many people, are you making other foods also as a main course????.........if its the only thing you are going to eat here is what i can tell you..

if you cook a whole rib, they around 14 lbs....you can get about 18 cuts from that.....they will be large cyts...i would have a butcher cut off the 'chain' for you....use rosemary,granuled garlic, black pepper as a coating......yum yum.,......if you need any help just ask i cook 10 ribs every sat night for work....just ask
