What color is he? How old? How big? Is he good around children?

LOL

He is apricot...sooo cute..

Hes 2 now..just turned in April.

Very smart dog and yes they are known to be very good around kids. Mine is a little 'meaner' because we have another dog, a mutt, who is bigger so I think he feels the need to defend himself.

HIs name is Murphy..I am gonna look for a pic right now of him.

NO WAY IS HIS NAME MURPHY!!!!!!!

My BIL's dog is named Murphy and he is a white toy poodle! He is also about 2. That is too much.

I babysit my nephew Murphy all the time and now I just had Murphy's 'cousin' over who is an apricot pup named Winston. It sent me over the edge! I need one..............they are better than Prozac for a little mood elevator!

I love the name..we are so irish and it fit so well!!!!!!

Oh theres nothing like it! They are adorable although girls are a little tamer to be honest. I still cant get over that Murphy thing...

And guess what..on his papers we got from the place..they give you his 'family tree' and there is a Winston in there...thats odd!!!!!!!

Re: Does anyone know of a toy poodle breeder?

I have a toy poodle who I got through a very well respected breeder in Selden.

He's black, weighs 5 pounds, and (bragging a little here ) my vet said he's the healthiest toy poodle he's ever seen. He just turn 2 last Sunday, and he's EXCELLENT with kids, even my niece who man-handles him to death. Some times I see her playing rough with him and think to myself 'If you don't bite her, I will!!!'

I posted a few picks on the pet thread yesterday, and I'm too lazy to do it again, so I'll bump the thread up instead.

If you'd like the name and # of the breeder, please let me know.

We got our dog (not poodle - but they have poodles) from Home of the Puppies in Flushing (on Kissena)...what we liked about it was that there was a 5 year guarentee on the dog for genetic diseases (but you have to take them to their vets in Queens - one in FLushing area..one in Howard Beach)
