There's Georgette's on 107 in Hicksville (very nice lady) and Mary's in Woodbury - - more custom-made. Both places are great.

Georgettes in HIcksville. When I went it was so cute- there was an old post from liweddings from about 3 years ago hanging on the wall in the dressing room.

FYI - Mary's is closed until August 18- I called the other day and that was the message on the machine - if you can wait to go, try Marys, if not Georgettes!

If you wanted to look in the city, I have been to The Town Shop (upper west) and Ripplu (midtown). I am a bizarre bizarre size, so I always have trouble finding bras. I have also heard good things about the Orchard Street Corset shop from other boards.
And of course, if you really wanted to go all out, you could hop a plane to London and visit Rigby & Peller, the royal corsetier, by appointment to her majesty the queen! (I've been there - it's great, and a hilarious experience!)

I went to Mary's, but they couldn't help me, so they sent me to Georgettes. Georgettes had what I needed.
