I was wondering if anyone has ever traveled to Galapagos island and is it a good trip for a honeymoon?

i wanted too but its rather expensive. My parents get the tour books all the time. Best bet is to go through a travel agent on this one due to restrictions they have on what you can bring/wear/etc. Its an amazing trip - not so romantic but just worth it to go and see.
I hope to save up and in a few more years go there.

I've always wanted to go there UNTIL my friends went on a cruise to those Islands. As unique as they may sound, from their description & the picts that I saw...pretty bland...it's NOT lush like Hawaii, nor sandy white beaches etc. I have traveled to several countries....One of the MOST beautiful places I have been to so far is the Grenadine Islands on a catamaran sailing from Island to Island. (NOT Granada) WARNING $$$$$ between airfare (minimum 2 flights to get there). You could stay in a hotel (far & few between) but the catamaran is the best way to see these islands. Please note: there is no A/C on a catamaran! Other places I have not been, but plan on going: What about Fiji? The water huts? Seychelle Islands? Matla? Maldives? Bonaire? Saba? Belize? Bora Bora? Greek Islands?
