I think as long as the smaller room is not book as of now they will let you switch to that room, but if it is booked then unfortunately you have to go with the bigger room. But then the RH should throw in extra's for not meeting your minimum and you can also count your vendors towards your min

i don't think there will be many implications but i think you're going to have a hard time switching since your date's at the end of june. call them and ask your bm ... it can't hurt

ITA! How much under the minimum to you expect to be? Maybe you can negotiate with them on the plate cost and the minimum...up the plate cost a tad, lower the minimum a tad to stay in the same room?

I cant see there being a problem. They are really accomidating there. I went from having a may afternoon, to a july afternoon, to a july evening and they have always been willing to work with me. Moving to the contessa, will change your cocktail area though. Its outside on the covered patio.

when u go drop off another payement.. speak to your bm..thats what i did last week. i am having the opposite problem... but thats cuz we thought we could barely meet the 75 minimum... never listening to my mom again!
