Ok I must be SOOOOOOO very out of the loop on ths one, I NEVER sterilized water, I just use the water from the brita pitcher that we have. Wow! You're committed, what are you sterlizing it for? Did your town get a poor report card with it's water district?

I think I only sterilized water for the first couple of weeks...and that was only b/c it was TAP water! My son is 3 now and I still try to give him bottled water more than filtered tap water...but there's no specific 'reason' for it, other than I am neurotic.

My dr told me that all water must be sterilized for 6 months. I also use my brita filtered water

I never sterilized my daighters water the pediatrician told me to give her what ever water I would be drinking so I would mix it up and give her from the tap at times and other times gave her bottled water the only time I really used nursery water was when I went to my mom's in PA since her water is well water and has alot of sulfer in it.
