We are planning our Honeymoon in Italy and would like to get the best price for airfare.
It's really about the time of year you go. The fall and the winter have the best prices to Europe. check out the prices online to see what rates are and then call tuesday and wednesday after midnight when fares are reset.
For Italy: Late september is when prices go down. They'll be pretty low until Easter.
You should be able to get a pretty decent fare until March. A few years back, when British Air & Virgin had $198 round trip to UK, The airfare to Itlay was $318 rt (w/o taxes, which can add up to $100/ticket).
Call a travel agent and see if there are an packages for off season, you might be able to get a great deal.
