I could find a gown for a destination wedding the weekend before Thanksgiving? I guess it has to be off the rack. My friend just booked her wedding in Puerto Rico and she is gownless!!

Check out Nordstrom.com. There are a bunch of pretty gpwns on there - don't know how long they take, though.
JCrew also has simple gowns.

Loehmann's has a huge bridal sample sale around this time...not sure exactly when it is, but you can get a bagdley mishcha for $900
