Does anyone know where to get Plus Size FG dresses?

One of my FG needs a plus-size dress & so far i've only found websites that sell them... please help

theres a store in LI, could be baldwin but not definiet, called Kathy's Touch - they have alot of sizes there

I had the same issue with one of my JBM but I went to Bridal Elegance we have to do major alterations.

It's not easy trying to find them dresses. My FG will be 6yrs old for the wedding but she is wearing size 14 clothes! You'd think there would be options out there considering kids are more chubby now-a-days.

Did you try Davids they tend to have something in every size. ANd their FG selection is pretty good!!!

I have the same issue, but with my youngest junior bridesmaid. It's really not easy to find something. I don't know of any actual stores on Long Island that sell any. So we're getting her dress from pegeen.com, where they have a custom sizing option. Their dresses aren't cheap, but at least we know it will fit! And I bet it will come out the same as buying a nice regularly sized dress and having it altered. And they don't want you to order more than two months in advance, in case the child grows--any child, not just plus size ones. Here's the dress we're getting, except it will be navy with a buttercream sash:

I did a search for Plus size FG dresses & came a cross pegeen.com a few days ago & just got my color swatches in the mail! I'm glad to hear that someone else ordered a dress from there. Did you order the dress yet? I'm just a little worried about ordering it online w/o seeing it. I do love the sample swatches but i'm paranoid b/c the return policy is something like 3 days. I'd love to hear how the dress looks when you get it.

I had this situation with one of my Junior Bridesmaids. She is in a size 14 now.
In some clothes she is wearing a size
16. So, I chosed a Junior Bridesmaid
Dress for the Junior Bridesmaids. They
run in 12, 14, 16, etc. I hope that I helped you out.
I also noticed we share the same wedding date.

Did you order the dress yet? I'm just a little worried about ordering it online w/o seeing it.

I've read so many good reviews of them, though, and they've been in some gorgeous weddings, and in Martha Stewart Weddings, which is kinda my barometer for decent stuff. We're going to order them this week. The samples look lovely, and I really don't have a lot of options with my junior bridesmaid--she's a size 18 or 20, but way too young to wear the styles of dresses that come in those sizes. She's tall, too, she's at least 5'3'. So I think this will work out really well. The only thing I feel bad about is my flower girl, who is a normal size, will be wearing a matching dress, and they're rather expensive, but it can't be helped.

I got my FG dress from davids bridal and shes a 'chunka' too. They do have some sort of plus system yet I forgot what it was called. We just got mine a larger size and it will need to be altered..thats why we found a cheap dress at davids so the alterations will 'balance out' ...even though the alts. may be about the same price as the dress.
