Are you bored? Can you help me find do-it-yourself wedding program kits? I need a simple one sheet- or one sheet folded over.

I need a back-up plan in case my 'experiments' are not fruitful.

I need nice paper, and the embellishments- and a fool proof way to put them together.

Layout is not that important- since I am really just listing everyone.

You want instructions on how to make them or to buy the supplies?

Staples sells a few pretty ones! and it comes with website www.uprint.com where you can download the layout.. you just type in what you want where and print!

Thanks Deb.. I think that is more of what I need-- but, none of those are really my style.

Ok- now I am going to check out uprint.

I figured not -- the premade ones tend to me a bit on the cheesy side at times. But, honestly, some of the nices programs I ever saw were just the facts printed on nice paperstock...rolled into a tube and tied with pretty ribbon. Super easy, and looks SO pretty in a basket waiting for folks to take them.

agreed. i don't think you have to go through the whole paper, vellum, and ribbon thing if you don't want. they'd look elegant and simple just rolled up and tied nicely.

that's what I was originally planning on doing- but the paper I liked was too expensive to even bother.... they were like a dollar a sheet- and 215 guest later, PLUS ribbon.. I might as well get them made. That whiteaisle.com site you posted earlier had some nice ones at 2.00 a program- I would save myself the frustration and just order.

Alas, my quest continues.

Soon2Be.. I like the tri-fold template on uprint.com..

If I do that- I can omit the ribbon and just worry about folding.. Going to try that!!

If not, I'll go back to my original scroll idea.

Thanks girls!!

I need a picture of the placecard frames set up with rose petals surrounding it and maybe a few candles.
I'd look for it myself, but I'm at work.
Thanks.

I think I have a reasonable sense of your stye (wedding style at least) -- I was thinking of white aisle as soon as you had this post, style-wise but I did not know from what you had said what budget might be. For me, FI is big on things like...how much time will it take you to do and how much is that time valued to you -- if that is the case then ordering them and avoiding the stress and hassle becomes worthwhile.
He is a finance guy so they have these kinds of thoughts...I know, not like us regular folk.

Deb-- I really like the stuff at White Aisle-- but for what we are looking for, it's not really right- we want a nice one pager- not a little booklet. The price is just not right.. We are spending so much money on everything else- the programs were not something I thought of, or considered. I actually put together the program using that tri-fold template- and what I think I am going to do- is fashion the programs to look like our STDs-- nice ivory linen, and a green ribbon. I am going back to Kate's today to get new 'provisions'. I think this can work. If not, we will not do them-- our ceremony will be 20 mins max (at our venue and a Jewish ceremony)-- I just wanted to list the friends and family that are important to us, express some thanks.. and honor our deceased grandparents.

When I get a new mock-up of my program- I will post for opinions-- what I have so far.. um.. yeah, not showing anyone.
