I was thinking of all the different combinations i have at my wedding.... the BM dresses are a blue/grey color, my centerpieces are white/green/magenta, bouquets pretty much match that i think there is another color in them too, invitations i have cream/goldish color/bronze, & i'm planning to do the programs and placecards in a cream color.
Does that sound like a hodge podge mess? lol The flowers really all go nicely with the dress color so i'm not really worried about that... i just am annoyed that i didn't pick an invitation that matched.... too late now but does anyone else not really have a theme??
I feel like i don't really have wedding 'colors'

I HAVE A SEASIDE/TROPICAL/NAUTICAL THEME BU DID NOT COMPLETE IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH, AS IT WOULD OF BEEN TO MUCH, BUT RATHER I DID A LITTLE OF EACH SO ITS NOT OVERBEARING, SO I THINK WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS GREAT, PLUS YOU DONT NEED AT THEME, WE ALL ALREADY HAVE ONE, ITS OUR WEDDING WHICH IS THEME ENOUGH

No real theme here. I tell my fam my theme is 'roses' but really, everyone has roses!

I don't really have a theme...just a color scheme. I'm using fall colors: chocolate, claret, and burnt orange, but we're not doing anything overtly fall like leaves or pumpkins.

Re: Does anyone not have a theme??
According to my sister, my theme is 'tacky.'
It sounds like everything will look pretty together, and that's all that matters. People do wedding colors so that nothing clashes. Sometimes I think people go overboard with wedding colors, when they start dyeing things that were never meant to be dyed. I'm not going to mention anything specific because I know someone will say 'Hey, I did that!
I don't have a theme, but I do have colors, and I'm now wondering if I've gone overboard with it, since I got in all the paper for my programs, place cards, wish bowl, but then I remind myself that they'll be inside a big room that isn't my colors, so it will be fine.
So...don't worry about it. You'll have a beautiful wedding.

I dont really have a theme...
Actually...being that my wedding is in December and FH and I are interfaith- we kinda wanted to STAY AWAY from themes to keep there from being confusion with xmas/hanukah, etc.
We're doing black white and red, but our theme is Wedding

Re: Does anyone not have a theme??
That is one of the details that some stress out over and others don't care. The invitation is lovely. No one is holding it up at the wedding to make sure it goes with everything else. To me themes are for Bar Mitzvahs, and sweet sixteens. The theme of any wedding is Love and the Couple. Enjoy your day.
