Re: Does anyone own a roomba???

Its an automatic vacuum.

From the Linens and Things website:

iRobot Roomba Floor Vacuum

The first automatic vacuum in the U.S. It uses intelligent navigation technology to automatically clean nearly all household floor surfaces without human direction so you can spend less time working and more time enjoying your life!

Features:
Cordless, rechargeable floor cleaner dances about like a pool-sweep to clean up dirt, dust, spilled cereal and more
Great on short-pile carpet, hardwood floors and kitchen tile
Roomba navigates around obstacles, protected by its non-marring bumper and guided by infrared sensors
Infrared 'virtual wall' unit keeps Roomba from crossing open areas as wide as 20 feet
Includes:

Rechargeable battery with charger that can last for 60-90 minutes depending on floor surface, Virtual Wall Unit and 2 spare filters.

Re: Does anyone own a roomba???

We have Roomba. DH loves it. I hate it because it ate my earrings and DH didn't look when he emptied it, so the earrings are gone

But it does a nice job overall. The cats are scared of it.
