You do not have to work for Chase to participate, it is open to one and all. To answer your question no I do not, I used to, years ago

Shamma - that's how I met my husband! At a party after the race in '92. I was injured and couldn't run that year, but went with a friend who's employer was sponsoring a party. Future DH came over to talk to me on a dare - someone else insisted you couldn't meet someone just by saying 'Hi' and that you had to have a great line.

We spend the whole night talking, started dating after that and the rest is history.... The funny part is the kid who made the dare insisted he worked with DH but DH had NEVER seen him on the floor, and NEVER found him after that night either.

I keep telling him it was one of God's angels bringing us together. His standard response is that it was a demon from H#!!

I used to when I worked in the city. I was so pitiful, I dragged my team down!! However, when one of my teammates pulled a muscle right before the October championship race, I subbed for her.

I am working on LI now, and my company does it as well. The race runs along the Jones Beach boardwalk, I believe.

I always do the March of Dimes in April. I've been doing that for the past 4 years. Its so fun. its a long walk (10 miles) but if you are with friends and having a good time, it goes by so fast.

I am not doing the chase corporate challenge this year because my old firm is in on it and I dont want to bump into old co-workers

Chippa, I do the March of Dimes as well, it is one of my sorority's biggest project. They are the ladies at the end of the line that gives out the T-shirts.

I do the AIDS walk and the Susan G Komen Breast cancer walk, I ran it one year, walking is way more fun tho'

Maybe we should have a LIW GTG to walk for Charity

Shamma that is an excellent idea. I think we should also look into volunteer projects.

I love the March of dimes walk. When I was with American Express I was team leader (which meant I was responsible for signing people up, the day of the walk hanging out at the American Express table checking people in, and of course walking )

I think that is an awesome idea to do a LIW charity walk. Count me in for that
