Does anyone shop at bridal stores for a dress for someone else's wedding?

I was thinking of looking at this one bridal shop for a dress for my uncle's wedding this summer.
They always have the most gorgeous dresses in the window.Of course if the prices are too high,I'll have to go elsewhere.
