No big deal asking the question you asked to start the thread, but some of the responses are just unreal.

It's a sad place when all people can do is tear others down, and that's where my opinion of 'pathetic' is directed.

Hmm... again, your opinion is your own..if you think its 'pathetic' and '1st grade-ish' to talk about things of this nature, so be it.

But I do question why you felt the need to insult everyone who posted on these threads by calling it 'pathetic'

Honestly, these weren't much different than the 'Constantine vs Bo' thread, where we were discussing who we though was 'sexier.' I guess it was just as 'childish' as these threads, but I did notice that you posted your opinion over there.. and without ANY sarcasm I might add

And plenty of people on that thread had negative comments and/or superficial comments about Constantine and/or Bo... so what IS the difference then?

Well, maybe the difference is .. the mudslinging on the Scott threads seem severly more intense. Granted, the guy was arrested for a horrid thing, so I can understand the hostility toward him .. but then target the crap that he did rather than make attacks on personal appearance.

i wasn't recommending he change it - i don't think he can...unless he learns how to smile or open his eyes

I see your point, however I think the way you came off was rude - period.

That said - are we all entitled to our opinions here? Yes , of course. I think you didn't need to insult everyone else to get your point across, but that is MY opinion

As far as what you see as 'bashing Scott on his personal appearance' well IMO, when you are in the public eye then you open yourself up for criticism. Name me ONE CELEBRITY or famous public person that people don't love to tear apart based on superficial qualities. Its human nature

That said, I find Scott unlikeable on so many levels, skeevy appearance aside, that its not too much of a stretch to find reason to rip on him - his apperance only enhances his unlikeability factor, IMO

He is skeevy because the story behind him is skeevy (his abuse records)

He is skeevy because he thanks god and points to the sky after he sings, and i could be really WRONG but I think he is doing it for dramatic effect

And lastly he is skeevy because...he looks like the kid from the movie Stand By Me who eats the pies and then vomits all over the place and in turn, cause others to vomit on themselves.

Just my opinion!
