Does BBB price match?

Does BBB price match?

I emailed BBB customer service because they have my entire china set except one multi-purpose bowl, which we have on our Macy's registry but wanted to switch over. They added it to my registry for me which is great, but it's more expensive!

Macys has it listed as retail $58, sale $40.99 (and their 'sale' price is the same as the BBB list price for every other piece in the set). BBB listed it on my registry as $55.99. even with 20% off, it's cheaper at Macy's.

Ideally I'd like to have it on my BBB but not if it's more expensive there. Does BBB price match? Suggestions? Should I email back and ask why it's more expensive?

yes but you have to bring proof like the flyer......and they have to make sure it is the SAME EXATCH ITEM

if its sheets they will check thread count and what not....electric they will look at size wattage and whatnot....just bring the flyewr and they will do it......but some of the stricter BBBs wont let you use the coupon on top of that.....but you can try

as far as price....every store has different prices...it depends on their mark up and what they buy it from the vendor for....macys might be able to get it cheaper so they can sell it cheaper......or maybe macys is discontinuing it?? i dont really know their selling strategy lol good luck!

if its sheets they will check thread count and what not....electric they will look at size wattage and whatnot....just bring the flyewr and they will do it......but some of the stricter BBBs wont let you use the coupon on top of that.....but you can try

Hmmm.. I dont know what to do then. Macys carries the exact same item, but I don't know if BBB even carries their china in the store. I think it has to ship from NJ. I'm hoping to make it easier for our guests (who seem to prefer buying from BBB as opposed to Macy's) but the price difference threw me for a loop.

thats the warehouse......its poroboly an online only item .....there are alot of china items that are online only.......

what is it ill write it down and check the computer monday and see if any local stores have them in stock..........

It's Lenox 'Venetian Lace' All Purpose Bowl, 6' x 2'

I'm probably being really confusing but essentially we registered for the whole set at Fortunoff originally but then closed that registry and then switched everything to BBB and the overflow to Macy's.

BBB had the entire set except the multipurpose bowl, and except the matching crystral stemware. I added them to our Macy's registry but I'd rather have them at BBB if it's possible, since our guests seem to prefer shopping at BBB.

BBB wrote me back saying

'We have added the Lenox Venetian Lace All Purpose Bowl to your bridal registry. Our buyers are currently checking on the Venetian Lace Crystal Stemware. As soon as we receive a response, we will advise.'

The bowl is more expensive at BBB than Macy's, while all of the other pieces in the set are the same price at both stores.

sorry for the confusion

Edit: so yes, just the bowl (well, 12 of them), although if they ever get the stemware I would want to add that too
