Yes it increases and changes in color and texture.

When you O your CM will get ticker and white-ish - some people say it similar to egg whites in texture. There will be more of it too. Then after you O your BBTs rise and dry you out (for lack of a better way of saying it) and CM becomes sticky and there is less of it.

Definitely noticed a big increase in CM when I ovulated... that is one of the biggest signs since without a good amount of thick, egg whitish CM your chances of conceiving diminish, even if you are ovulating.. its the CM that helps the little swimmers meet the eggie

I also read somewhere that you can tell when you're ovulating by the position of your cervix. That it lowers and opens when you're ovulating. I was too much of a wimp to test it out myself, but it's something to think about for those braver souls!

I honestly couldn't even figure out what the HECK I was doing when I tried that out.. I follwed the 'directions' from TCOYF and I still had no idea what I was feeling around for

you CP is HSO when ovulating (that is soft high and open) its kinda gross and hard to tell but after a few months you check once per day and its not as bad anymore and it gets a LOT easier to figure out.
