I though i heard that once, not sure if it's true. I'm trying to drink it at work, but I guess it's good for you no matter what

I heard that it does. I tried it and I am sorry but it was nasty. Maybe I should try adding some equal or something to it.

Does diet green tea have the same benefit? I drink the Arizona Diet Green Tea. It doesn't taste bad if it's really cold.

I'm so shocked at this! I love the taste of green tea... I drink it all the time without milk or sugar, and FH drinks it with lemon and honey...
not only does it help you lose weight, but there's all kinds of studies on how healthy it is for you (cancer preventative, etc etc)... In my opinion, it's like the perfect drink.

Maybe you're drinking the commercial brands? Like Bigelow? If you go to a health food store and get green tea, it definately won't taste the same. I know a guy who drank it - he was a hardcore health nut and he admitted that green tea is 'an acquired taste'.

I heard from someone that it only has the cancer fighting effects if you drink it right after it's brewed. Maybe she is wrong? I don't see how this would effect anything.

well, I do buy 'luxury' teas - I get my tea at Takashyma (Japanese department store on 5th Ave in the mid 50s...) So they're very high quality... No tea bags, I buy either powder or tea leaves - I mean, it is an 'acquired taste' for some people... but I think it's great... I don't even like the flavored or fruity ones b/c it takes away the natural flavor... I have lots of friends that love green tea too! But, I also know lots of people who don't - so I guess I shouldn't be that shocked! lol to each his own!
