Send them to OOT's and people that you are 100% positive you will be inviting to the wedding.
We didn't send them to co workers on the off chance we might not be there anymore and then would feel obligated to invite them after asking them to save that date!!

I sent them to out of towners and everyone we're definitely inviting to the wedding. I'm not giving them to my co-workers though.

well the timeline that i've been going by says 12-18 months before the wedding

I never got them, and my mother asked me the other day if I ordered them yet. So, I am only getting them for out of town guests, about 25. I have 8 months till my wedding. It gives them a little more time to book flights and take off work.

We weren't going to do them at all, but now we are going to send out a handful to those OOT people that we definitely want to come. Probably 25 or so.

We sent them to everybody. We included our hotel phone number so people could block early. We sent them about 7 months before the wedding.

We sent them to OOT family and friends and also people we were 100% about inviting to the wedding. We did not send them to co-workers or friends we were not sure about.
