Maybe an actual question about it would help:
Which rooms are you having your CH and Reception?
Also, are you having your ceremony there or offsite?
I'm having my ceremony there (hopefully outside) Cocktail hour in the restaurant, reception in the Winter Garden Pavillion.

There was probably a thread at some point, but I haven't been able to find it.
In answer to your questions, we are in the same rooms as you. We really really really wanted the cocktail hour outside, but it wasn't meant to be.
We aren't doing the ceremony there, but you will be so lucky if you get to have it outside! Here's wishing you beautiful April weather!!
Are you getting a piano player for cocktail hour? I noticed there is a piano in the restaurant.

It probably would be a good idea to get a piano player for the CH, but I know they have music piped in, so I might just go with that to cut some costs!
I am considering hiring musicians for the ceremony, though....my DJ will do the ceremony if we want but I don't really like the idea of that.....thinking I'd like a classical guitarist or something along those lines.

We were married there on April 25, 2003. Fox Hollow was wonderful! We had the Winter Garden Pavilion for cocktail hour (unfortunately we never got in there... taking pics) and the Briar Fox for the reception. It was a wonderful day! So excited for you girls... we are actually going to go for dinner there on our 1 year anniversary! Can't wait.

ME TO ME TOO! My CH is in the Briar Fox if there is bad weather but i hope it is outside. My reception is in the Garden Terrece.
Curious about the anniversary dinner thing. ANother friend of mine told me about this but my banquet manager said nothing of it. When i went for that wedding planner intro. On a piece of paper said that they give a free dinner only if you use 'their' recommended venders. Which i am not. I am only using one.

Yeah, I think if you book with a certain number of their recommended vendors, you get either $200 worth of wedding upgrades or a gift certificate for $200 to eat in the restaurant.
Not happening for me either.....I think 2 of the vendors I'm using are ones they recommend.
Oh, and I booked with Mel.....

I booked with Mel too ! Did you get the email today from the scotto brothers? I got one saying that it is time to meet for a one on one session with the wedding planners.

Didn't get an email from them today. I think I got an email from them about coming in to meet with the coordinator, but I got it like a month or two ago, and it seemed to soon to be happening, so I didn't do anything about it....

Hi girls...I am a FH bride...FEb.13 '04....only a few more weeks. My ch is in the briar fox room and reception in the garden terrace. I am meeting with them on Jan 12 to finalize the menu.....I can't wait!!!

I'd wait.....or maybe just call and see what they have to say. It just seems too soon to be finalizing stuff, even though honestly I can't wait to pick out the menu, the cake, the ceremony decorations......that will be fun!
