when you see peole wearing white/ivory at weddings? (besides the bride of course) i was in my bff's wedding, and alot of her friends (newer ones that i dont know) showed up in ivory dresses. maybe its bc im a little older than them (mind u im 26) but ughhhhhhhh!!! pet peeve!

I don't really care, I mean not all wedding dresses are white/ivory now anyway. My friend is getting married in a red gown. Now if someone wore an actually wedding dress.......I'd be a bridezilla

I thinks its weird. Were they solid white dresses? I feel funny wearing a dress with any white on it at all to someone else wedding which might be crazy and is tough for me since all my favorite dresses seem to end up black and white (floral, polka dots, etc.) but I still avoid it

One of my best friends went to her cousin's wedding and everyone wore white! It was held in the brides' family backyard in New Hyde Park - the bride is Filipino/Southeast Asian and she specifically asked everyone to wear white! My friend said it was some type of asian tradition?

i think it is so inappropriate and extremely tacky for someone else to wear white to a wedding, besides the bride. common sense, which i seem to find that many people lack, would dictate to wear another color. and its not like white if flattering on everyone, so why would you purposefully want to wear a white dress?

I went to a wedding last June where the Groom's mother wore white! The bride and her did not get along, and she found another way to try and ruin her day

fmil did th is to fsil .. i told fmil she is NOT allowed to wear anything that even resmebles white. and i told FH that our neice (who will be 2 at the wedding) is on strict instructions to spill some thing on anyone who wears white/ivory :) lol
