Does it ever end?? Now Im frustrated because...

I ordered the dress for Vegas from Ebay, and it came the other day. I posted how beautiful it was and the picture did it no justice well I tried it on yesterday and when the light hit it there is a big claw mark(looks like from a cat)that is very visible or it could be an imperfection in the fabric. There was black cat hair all over the bottom of the dress so I assumed it was a claw mark(which no big deal it comes off with a lint brush right). So I email the bridal shop in CA where the dress came from and the woman assured me that there are no animals in the store or at her home. Again no biggy, and she tells me to ship the dress back and she'll take care of it so that my wedding day doesnt turn out to be a disaster!! Great....Well I also ordered a tiara that is supposed to be made of swarovski crystals...Not...I wish I had a little girl I would let her use it for dress up Needless to say one of the flowers were also broken off and the arm that holds the comb wasnt soldered on correctly so it sticks up and holds the tiara off your head. I've tried contacting her but no response yet Well the next thing to come is the veil that also is supposed to have swarovski crystals in it. That should be here tommorow. All this shipping cost adding to what I've already paid is really pissing me off. I dont think I'd ever use Ebay again for something this important I just hope atleast the dress comes back in one piece and the veil shows up to be decent. I'll deal without the tiara.

That is awful ! What a bad ebayer -- definitely give her negative feedback when she finally sends your things.

Ebay is such a crap shoot. I know a lot of ladies here have had good experiences, but I feel like it would be just my luck to have something go wrong with one of my wedding purchases! I hope you are able to get it fixed in time!

I felt the same way and then convinced myself that I was being too negative. I've bought plenty of things from ebay and only once had a problem but it was that I paid for something and it took me threatening to go to the district attorney after 6months to receive it. I figured I'd give it a shot, oh well lesson learned, IMO it's just not for me!

That is terrible!!! I am so sorry for you. I really hope everything works out and definitely put negative feedback about that ebayer. I'm not that familiar with ebay but I wouldn't let that person get away with this. Try not to stay upset even though I'm sure it's easier said then done. Good Luck!!!

Thanks everyone***Okay she finally sent an email this morning she will send me pics of other tiaras in exchange for the one I got because the manufacturer is out of stock and she doesnt have anymore, yeah okay there were like 5 of them on ebay but I didnt like it anyway so no biggy. If I dont like anything she said she will give me a full refund Fine with me I think I would rather just go with the veil at this point. I have to get to the post office and return this dress too. This trip is starting to feel like a disaster in waiting(All but getting married) Thanks for listening to me vent once again. Im becoming very overwhelmed. I just realized last night that I have been going so crazy trying to get everything done that I forgot to buy my tickets to florida for May for my sisters graduation and my daughters ticket to come home for the summer. That was supposed to be done two months ago

Yeah I think your right. It's like starting all over again I just gotta keep thinking positive and that it will all turn around before we leave. Try to focus on the good things, like a mini honeymoon(vacation away with no kids for the first time)the fact that we are getting married finally and have the big wedding to come home and finish planning. Of course to make matters worse my mother throughs in, 'Well that's what happens when you buy things off ebay'! Well with two infants who have had a viral infection and a 13yr. old that has to be shuttled back and forth to baseball practice and confirmation practice, one car that is usually with FH since he goes to work at 4:30am, NO babysitter--I found it alittle hard to shop in a store.
