Does it ever take you a few seconds for stuff to register....

Does it ever take you a few seconds for stuff to register....

I just called DH cell phone and some loud male answered and sounded really weird. I thought I dialed the wrong number and hung up!! As I hung up I realized it was my FIL and now I feel really dumb!!! He knows it was me b/c of the caller ID

My fil just sounds SO different over the phone and I rarely speak to him on the phone... OMG he's gunna think Im a nut

Um yes. Like when my boss tells me to do something I am like okay....then I go back to my desk and try to remember/figure out what he said!
