I always hate it when I take cold medicine and it makes me really uncontrollably drowsy and this morning I caved on my vow to cut back on caffeine and had a coffee and I was totally jittery for a few hours. A few years ago I had general anesthetic to have my wisdom teeth removed and I tried to fight 'going under' for as long as I could...
It scares me when things affect my body in ways that I can't control (Although I guess I can control it by not ingesting aforementioned cold medicine or coffee... )
Do you like the feeling of something taking over your body or does it freak you out?

I'm the SAME way. It's part of the reason I never started using drugs or even tried them when I was younger. All of my friends were potheads and MUCH WORSE, it was my fear of feeling 'not normal' that kept me clean

Definitely. I don't even like drinking a lot because I have a tendency to say too much (divulge secrets, etc.). I get myself in trouble!

I hate cold medicine because it gets me to sleep at night - but then stays with me the entire next day...and I feel like I'm swmming.
And I FREAK when any body part is swollen for some reason.

yes, it does. i am control freak, so to be subjected to something i can't control, ESPECIALLY about my body, freaks me out.

Absolutely!!! I hate when I am not in control of myself.... sometimes certain medicines make me shake... I hate that. That is why I never took those diet pills.. people said they make your heart race... I would not be able to deal with that!

When I was younger it never bothered me but now that I am older I totaly get freaked out!!

COMPLETELY freaks me out! I've never been put out as a result - I had my wisdom teeth taken out with a local needle and had an Endoscopy fully awake - I DO NOT SUGGEST EVER DOING EITHER!
