Does it make any difference.....?

Does it make any difference.....?

Do you think it makes any difference if you book the videographer with the photography company or should you book a separate videographer? Would a videography company do a better job?

i think it's all in your preference. There are good points and bad points to each way.

If you find a videographer that you love - don't worry about how he will work with the photographer - they're professional and can work together...

it depends. We found a photographer we really liked that does not offer videography so for us it worked out better to book the two vendors separately. It really depends on which photographers you love and what they offer.

my photographer doesnt do video so for us there was no choice. But i dont think it matters, if you go to a photographer and you happen to love their video also then go for it, if not then look for a videography company

We booked them together so we felt assured that they would work well together, not have either feel like they're getting in each other's way.

Also, since my free time is pretty limited, it was one less vendor to fully research and start going on another round of appointments for.

I'm sure if you booked separate companies, they would all be professional though.

I was told it was best to book the video through your photo company but if they dont provide this service then you have no choice but to get one from an outside company.

We booked them both together because they gave us a price break if we did. They also claim they work better with their own videographers, but I don't think it matters.
