i ordered my veil in the beginning of December from the bridal store (same place i bought my dress) ... i just called them up and asked if it's in yet (i thought it takes about 2 months, tops!) and was told it should be in around June ...
does it really take 6-7 months for a veil?
it's just a simple fingertip veil with satin trim!!!

Honestly, they are probably holding off on ordering it since your wedding isn't until August. It should NOT take that long. I'm even skeptical about the length of time it takes to get a dress in.

they probably didnt order it yet. or when they did, they put your august date. so no one is in a rush.
at the bridal store, they said i could order at my first fitting (6 weeks out) and it would be here in time
so 6-7 months sounds crazy. its tulle!

Mine came in like three weeks. They're probably just not in a rush because you're in August. Maybe ask them if they can rush it and say you want to try it on when you get your hair trial or something?

thing is that when i went to pick up my headband about 2 months ago, they said the veil would be in 'next month' (meaning in March sometime) ... i hate this freakin' bridal store!
