Does NV really work?

Has anyone tried the diet supplement NV?? I work out and try to eat good, but using a little helper wouldnt hurt.....I see that girls on Bridezillas use it...but I wonder if they are just advertising it or did they really lose 30 lbs in a month.....anyone let me know if you have used it!

I've asked and everyone got mad at me for wanting to try it. I guess the truth is, none of those OTC drugs work. I couldn't believe that Bridezilla girl lost all that weight in like, what, 6 weeks! She wasn't even that heavy. I'm convinced they work out super hard and starve.

I would avoid those supplements and try working out and eating healthy first. I know it's hard (I'm struggling myself, especially with the working out part) but a lot of those are bad for your heart and haven't been out long enough to really know what it will do.

WW on the other hand has been proven successful... just requires more hard work

I would never take pills or anything else to lose weight..can't be good..do it the right way..diet and exercise.

i don't trust supplements and think that diet and exercise, faithfully, are the key

You can get a diet pill b y prescription from a doctor, but you have to be seriously overweight. My FFIL takes meridia - its a prescription appetite suppressant. It has helped him tremendously, but I agree with everyone else - doing the natural diet and exercise should be everyone's first line of defense.

I read an article recently that if you take the vitamin B-12 it helps to naturally stimulate your metabolism. My FMIL takes it and paired with diet and exercise, she has been losing a lot of weight.

HTH!!

Also... Green Tea extract. Take that vitamin, its supposed to help with weight loss as well...of course diet and exercise along with it!

Re: Does NV really work?

went from 89 lbs to 130 lbs and it was totally depressing for me, i was taking medication which is part of the reason i gained so much weight - it was horrible for me to be that heavy....so i went on a serious diet and exercised like a maniac - i even bought a treadmill and practically lived on it......so i got down to about 112 lbs but just couldn't loose any more weight - and then i took TrimSpa and i think it definitely worked.....then i got to about 96 lbs and stayed there for awhile.....now i am back to about 90lbs which is my normal weight - it took about 2 years.......diet pills are def bad for you but I think Trim Spa worked....i also exercised like a maniac and i am very very careful about what i eat - even now......its not a magic pill - you have to diet correctly and exercise correctly......i only used the pills for a few months but for me it was worth the risk - i hated myself being heavy.......

I wanted to try NV too!!!

But i think NV sponsers BRIDEZILLAS now. I've seen like 3 brides talking about it. And they always do the SAME shot of it with the box. it has to be a sponser of the show.

those girls were paid to rave about it
