I don't think it is a big deal. We are having 1 Jr. BM and no match for her.

I don't think mine will be equal, either. The wedding I went to last night wasn't, and one BM walked down with two GM. I went to another wedding a couple of years ago, and one BM actually walked down by herself. If your Jr. BM doesn't mind walking alone, it may even make her feel more special

Agreed it does not matter. She can walk by herself. BUt then again if you have the BP dance together for first dance...who will she dance with?

Re: does the bridal party need to be equal?
this was one of my concerns who will she dance with or should i just have one of her cousins come out at the moment n dance w.her.(shes only going to be 11 so dancing w.a cousin isnt a big deal -i dont think atleast!) .?? is that a good idea?

Re: does the bridal party need to be equal?
I have 2 BM, 1 MOH, 2 GM, 1BM and the JB. She is also 11 and I did not give her a partner. I am not having my JB dance, but if she wanted to I can always ask a family member. Don't worry much about it, ask her if she would feel comfortable doing that.

Re: does the bridal party need to be equal?
jr gm is not necessary dont complicate things cuz things like that can get out of control extremely fast...i only have 1 mh and 4 bm my FH has 1 bm and 6 gm and i didnt want to pick someone just so everything was even. kinda felt it made the others seem less special

Re: does the bridal party need to be equal?
My wedding party is not equal. We have one less BM than GM - some lucky lady will have two guys escort her down the aisle!

Re: does the bridal party need to be equal?
The sides definitely don't need to be even! I stressed myself out over this in the beginning b/c I'm a freak and I like even numbers, but then I lost one of my girls, and FH had to add one other guy, and I got over it. I don't think any of our friends weddings had even numbers of guys and girls, and it looked fine.

Re: does the bridal party need to be equal?
We are haing 4 Bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. I am going to have the grooms men escort the guests to their seats and the girls walk down by themself. This way they can show their dress off more..

Re: does the bridal party need to be equal?
The BP is usually the people closest to the Bride and groom. I haven't seen an equal BP for ages, including mine and two weddings I went to this month. With everything you have to do, don't worry about it unless you really have to.

Nobody seems to be equal anymore, it's unrealistic. It will look beautiful with what you have.
