If it drags at all yes, because you don't want to trip.

Oops, sorry, I did not read carefully. If it drags on the floor then yes I would but if not I wouldn't.

I agree, you can do a simple bustle

You would be better off with a simple bustle.

I would do something. You wouldn't want people dancing all over it and risk ripping the bottom half of your dress while your dancing...

Yes! I had a short train on a BM dress and did not get it busteled! It was a pain in the behind, everyone kept stepping on it! Some of the other girls got one or two points, and it worked out great.

I had a short train too, and I bustled my dress.

Get it bustled if it drags even a little you want to dance and enjoy your reception and not worry about tripping.
I was a BM once and the dress had a short train the semstress did not bustle it high enough and people kept steeping on my dress until by the end of the night the bustle was busted, i had to hold the dress up for the rest of the night.

I have a short train on mine and they're doing an inside bustle, so it almost looks like a regular dress with no train. The regular style of bustles weren't looking right with the dress and fabric.

I would do a small bustle only because you don't want to catch and rip the bottom of your dress.

You definitely want to have it bustled. It will make your life easier. You will get annoyed when everyone steps on it if it isn't bustled.

I would defiantely do a bustle, even if it is a small one. Dragging it all night will ruin the dress and will annoy you!

A friend of mine had a short train and the dress was soo heavy that her dress from just a little bit of dancing ripped! I would maybe have the buttons or loops put in this way if you want it bussled you can and if you dont you dont

That's good to know! I am looking at a BM dress with a little train.
