Do you think, I should do, groom in White tie/vest and GM in peri tie/vest...
or Groom in vest/ tie, GM in Tie only all same color??
#1: Groom Ivory #2: GM tie only #3: Groom tie/ vest
By the way, FI and I LOVE THE blue color
At the reception, after dinner and our first dance, son and mom, father/daughter etc. FI is changing into the last shirt.LOL, he really wants to and I think it's cute!!!

my dh had a double lapel instead of single and he wore platinum instead of purple. you dont have to change the tuxedos to make them different but you want him to stand out a little so i would give him a different color vest and tie

My hunny will be too. I want people and the camera to know which one is the groom, not that they won't anyway

FH's vest will be white and his bow tie will be white - the groomsmen will have grey/silver vests and bow ties. The tux will be the same though.

'Traditionally' the groom wears a white tie/vest - But your fiancee can wear whatever he wants ! No rules there ! - Most of the time they will just wear a different tie/vest -

I would like my FH to wear a different vest and tie, but he is being very picky about how he is going to differ. The GM will be wearing silver or platinum vests and ties. He said maybe he would do purple (wedding colors are purple and silver). I want him to wear white, but he doesn't like it...says it's too 'penguiny'. I think it is nice for the groom to differ from the GM in some way.

you know ? I REALLY like that only the tie look - I've never seen it before. - But I like I could not however trust my GM to keep their jackets on !!
