Maybe Im just crazy but when you post something, you have like 70 people read it and only 2 respond. I understand if its a Question, but if its an advice thing, I would think that more people would reply?

yea i know what you mean... sometimes it bothers me too, but i try not to take it personally. sometimes i see 100 people view it, and only 2 responses.. i guess it happens with everyone though.

its really hard to gauge what the post is about from the subject alone and sometimes two posts is all it needs... but i always wonder when I see tons of people read and like 1 response. weird.

i always feel bad for people who have like 20 posts and no response yet. i try to type something if i think it's going to be helpful. but a lot of times i click on it multiple times forgetting i've already read it. it's helpful when brides post more info in the subject line so people who can help can respond accordingly.

thats a good point about clicking on the same post forgetting you already posted. i have done that before.

I have to add that I rarely reply because Im more of a lurker and cant add real advice.. I dont even live in NY..LOL But, I do reply if I can add something.
Also..... I cant ever remember if Ive clicked on a thread or not, and I sometimes do several times.. read a few comments then move on
Also.... If you want the truth, what bothers me more is a very vague title of the thread.... there are so many that run short of the actual comment or question, you have to click on it to see. like. ' Does anyone know of a ......' or ' where can i find a...........'
Why not say : Does anyone know of a florist in such and such'
You know? LOL. Thats my only peeve.

I agree - I do that a lot! You can usually count me for 5 of those mystery clicks

Alot of times I opne a thread and see the same answer I would give, so I don't bother posting again. I supose I should really, ast least for support. Just don't want someone to get let down when it was already said an not anything new.

Totally...I get excited when I see how many people have viewed but I can't figure out why no one replies.... or if you are announcing something exciting no one ever responds.

I don't even pay attention unless the thread is getting NO responses.
Also, particularly with people who post very vague subject lines like 'Does anyone know...' 'I need a...' etc., etc., I don't remember if I read the thread or not so I keep opening it to realize it's something I already read and no new replies have been made.

yeah it happens alot...........probobly better off in some cases. But it does get annoying when you see 50 views and 0 responces
