FH and i thought we'd like to use wooden box as our favor containers. I thought they were cute so ppl can keep them after they eat the candies inside. so here are the pics i found.. tell me if this is crazy!
And then i was thinking about our money box and think i can use an even bigger wooden box.. i know i'm probably a bit obssessive here but i found some boxes i really like (they don't come with an opening on the top though so i have to think of someway to alterate them)
so i don't know am i totally off the track???
PS: both of us are Chinese and the boxes are like miniatures of ancient chinese jewelry boxes.. i'm so obssessed with them but worried others will find it odd
I think its a really cute idea- it goes with your heritage- it ties it all together and makes it more special. I think I like the square shape better- and your FH should be able to cut a slit in the top of the box.... Good Luck

i love the idea. the boxes are really pretty and the link to your culture makes it even more unique and special! ditto - on FH cutting the slit in the top. HTH

I think it's perfect the way it ties in with your backgrounds!! And I agree that Fh can prob just cut a slit at the top

They are all really nice- I like the middle boxes the best. They are all beautiful. It is nice how it ties to your culture too.

I think it's a great idea! I would like the box even if there was nothing inside! And I definitely think a larger one would make a great card box!
