I guess my whole 'theme' is going to be Lily of the Valley and Gardenias. Each flower represents the favorite flowers of each grandmother on each side. My FH's grandmother just recently passed away last year, and my grandmother has been deceased for i think over 10 years now.
I found place cards onlin that have gardenias on them and another site that has lily of the valley on them. I was going to put the names of the people from my side on the Gardenia place cards and his on the LOTV place cards. Then i was also going to add a picture of the flower along with the table numbers on each table. Do you think this is too much??? Should i leave the table number idea out? or should i just keep the meaning behind the flowers down to the bouquets and bouteniers??

Very cute! But I am not sure about the place cards...only because you are going to put them out alphabetically so it may be staggered and people might wonder why some are different. It may look strange. I am not trying to hurt your feelings but I am just trying to visualize it!

Im not worried about how it will look if staggered. I mean, maybe i will buy a few and see how they will look , but i think that since it is just the 2 flowers on the cards i dont think it will be too crazy looking.

That sounds like a beautiful idea. And I think the table numbers with the place cards would be a great touch.

Yes, b/c it is going to be in the 'winter season'i am going to give people mugs that i picked out, with packets of either cocoa, tea or coffee. The packets have our names and date on them with a cute picture of a snowman and woman kissing :)

I think its a great idea, I think that the place cards being staggered and different will give your PC table some depth instead of being flat and formed
