Does this happen to your pedicure?

Does this happen to your pedicure?

Whenever I wear close toed shoes after a pedicure, inevitably the tips scratch off!!!

Anyone else has this issue... I tend to solve it by sticking to open toe sandals in the summer, no nail polish in the winter, and if I wear close toe in the summer, then I just redo the tips...

Help!!!

Yes it used to happen to me. Now when I wear closed shoes I take a small piece of saran wrap and put it over my toes, then put on my stockings or whatever, sounds silly but it works

That never happens to me.. are the ladies putting to much polish on your toes.. to many layers can result in early chipping.... THats how i go home from the salon sometimes with the wrap on my feet if i didnt wear sandals to the salon!! i dont think i could deal with that all day long.. how about putting lotions on your toes so it makes you glide against the shoes instead of rub..

I wish I didn't ever had to wear closed toes shoes once the warm weather started - but since I don't have bsuiness casual - I still have to wear suits and closed toes shoes - yuck!!!!

It happens sometimes to me but not all the time and I pretty much always have my toes polished (not matter what season - mostly do my own). Wish I had a solution to you!

Suzanne, this happens even with sock on!!! I mean real socks, not those female stocking things.

They put saran wrap on my feet at the salon I go to. I don't take it off for a while.

that always happens to me. I wind up wearing sandals all the time throughout the summer when I am painting my toenails, so it usually doesn't rub off.

Are your shoes too big/wide? This only happens to me when I wear one pair of shoes that I own that is slightly wide, so my foot moves around a bit.

there is also this stuff called my nails are sealed... it's like a protective coating that my girl has to fight to take off - even after 2 weeks!
