does this limo price sound right?

does this limo price sound right?

So, we're going through a limo company owned by fh's parents' friend, and theoretically we're supposed to be getting a price break - but I'm not so sure we are. How does this sound to you?

1. Two 10 passenger limos at $325 each TO the venue
2. One 2-3 passenger car (for my grandparents) $375 round trip.
3. One 6 passenger limo for us after the ceremony, to take us to our hotel - no charge
4. Van to and from hotel for oot guests, total $500 round trip.
5. Two ten passenger limos at $295 each FROM the venue

Adding up for a sum total of $2538 for 4 cars TO the party, 5 cars FROM the party (adding an extra to take FH and I elsewhere from where the bridal party, etc, are going)

We might end up canceling the van from the hotel, as now it looks like not everybody will be at the same hotel, so that would take us down $500 to $2038.

I guess instead of making the poor driver hang out at the place all night, they just send separate cars in the afternoon and at night.

how does this sound to you? I know we're getting a lot of cars... so is this about right? I think pretty much the price break we're getting is that he's giving us the car for FH and I after the party for free.

You should go to other limo places and ask for a quote on the exact things as this parent friend's limo company. I suggest Joe from Camelot Limo.

I also highly recommend Camelot as well. Joe is great!

i don't need as many cars so i can't tell if that's bout right.. but. always get a second quote.. my fh's cousin's friend gave us a 'good price'.. that was $400 MORE than the industry standard..

You are getting a lot of cars... but I would still check around for other price quotes... definitely play the barter game

I would check around a bit before booking.... I got two suv's and van transportation for 16 people after the party for a little less than that including tax. It was also with a discount bc it was recommended by the RH. I booked with Royalty.

I would actually check around a bit because i know a few things on here are different from what I have been seeing.
In particular the van for OOT guests, I was quote 200 each way, (so 400 round trip) for vans for OOT from All star limo.

Like the other girls said I would check with some other limo companies. Especially in regards to your grandparents' car. It seems like they just need two pick up and drop offs (one to the wedding and one from the wedding back home) if this is true than that quote seems a little high.

Definitely give Joe at Camelot a call. I spent one entire day calling around 6 or 7 places & the last one was Joe - who came in around $700-$900 cheaper than my highest quote!!!
