I think that is pretty average but you may have some room to negotiate. Let them hang a bit while you think it over...they may come down in price.

Re: Does this price quote sound good?
Like most people have said it depends on the photographer but some of the places I have been looking are quoting MUCH higher for MUCH less. I think as long as you like the photographer's work it is definitely a GREAT deal!!
just remember the prints are cheap - an 8x10 is only 20 bucks by my photographer. SOOO - kinda makes it sound like youre getting alot but its not really the case - you could do those yourself on shutterfly or something...

Re: Does this price quote sound good?
So this post made me think....what is the right way of comparing vendors, especially photographers. They all have different styles, different packages, some are small independent studios, some are large very commercial feel studios..and having an apple to apple type comparison seems almost impossible. Am I the only one?? I actually found Kolen weddings and love what i saw. They seem to be ...what I call a ‘boutique’ type of photography studio - small, independent, trendy, more expensive, place where you actually go to look for something original and less commercial etc. And yes, they do not give you thank you thank you notes, many enlargements... but on the other hand you can get it done for cheap if you get high resolution photos. How do you all ladies compare??
