My sister just told me that I shouldn't post what vendors I'm using because FH ex might go on here to find out what vendors I'm using and cancel them all on me!! ***!! Do you think people really do this! She's crazy but I think she has better things to do with her time. I'm scared now!

you know I saw someone else post something like that on here about not wanting to let anyone know their vendors so no one could cancel stuff on them, I have no idea if that's ever happened but I would hope that it wouldn't be so easy and that a vendor would second guess something like that if you already paid.

I remember reading a post like that maybe 6 months ago...I also heard that sometimes if a girl wants a vendor for her wedding that's already booked that they've tried pulling the same stuff. I don't know how true THAT is, but it all just creeped me out enough to keep me pretty discrete about certain vendors.

That would really be horrible if something like that were to happen. If FH's ex is that psycho then I would play it safe and not post your vendors.

If you are talking about what I'm thinking, that whole thing was a 'joke' that got way out of hand.... it wasn't true and didn't really happen.... As mentioned above, I think that vendors would be alittle hesitant to just cancel a contract and give someone money back over the phone. As you see, i'm not hiding any of my vendors... Also, its kinda hard to actually search for someone on this site if all you have is their name and like you said, i'm sure she has better things to do with her time.... i say don't worry

this has happened to some brdies from 06 and 07. If you're worried, i wouldn't post them in your account or use an abbreviation. one woman several months ago posted... her FH's ex tried to cancel one of her vendors. luckily the vendor called her directly to double check. for those of us that have been on here for a long time, we've seen this happen. if your Fh's ex is shady, i wouldn't post.

No reputable company will cancel a contract over the phone, so that's not something you need to worry about. But you can always call your vendors to double check so you don't drive yourself crazy worrying about it crazy people.

Thanks for the advice ladies. I decided not to post my vendors anymore. I'd rather be safe then sorry.

Someone called my RH and tried to say I was cancelling. Of course I got a return call asking to speak to me. Ive been told that a RH will not cancel without you physically going in. I wouldnt worry TOO much but I would be careful how much information you give out
