Does this sound crazy?

Hi,

Ok, for centerpieces, don't think I can go with original idea of hurricane candle holder with candle in it because FMIL is on oxygen. So I was thinking of getting pewter dragon statues (FH is very into dragons) but they're so small I think they would be lost on the tables. My sister suggested getting the statues and putting them inside the hurricane lamps. I'll have to see what it looks like but I kind of like the idea. There is a really cute pewter statue of a dragon wedding couple.

What do you think?

Plus, I think I found somewhere to get the pewter dragon bottle openers that I've been looking for-just trying to get them to lower the price a little bit!!

You could also put them on stands....like candle holders: elevated....this way they would stand out.

i agree... put the hurricane stands on something and cover that with flowers so that it is not too small

Hi, ladies,

It's so funny that you mentioned the stands and the rose petals because that's what me & my sister were thinking of last night. Figured I'd put the statue on one of those pedestal stands and put some rose petals around them. I'm going to order one of the statues today so I can put together one to see what it will look like.
