we're donating all of our food to island harvest and i wanted to put little tent cards on the table that said that so our guests know

does this sound silly?


As the holidays draw near, we are honored that you have chosen to be a part of our Wedding Day.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, all of the surplus food and desserts from this Wedding Reception will be donated to Island Harvest, a local Long Island organization that has helped feed more than a quarter of a million families throughout Long Island.

i think it sounds great...and what a wonderful idea!!!

the only thing i may change would be to say '....desserts from our wedding will be donated...'
and then sign your names at the bottom

but i may be grammatically incorrect

i was going to say the same thing, to change 'this' to say 'our' it makes it more personal and i think this is a great idea! people might take care to watch what they eat!

Love this! Our RH is doing this and I may use your idea.
