If so what do you use to keep the smell out of the house. My Uncle is visting for the next couple of weeks, and he smokes. He doesn't in the house but I can still smell it b/c I don't smoke. It doesn't really bother me, but I don't like the scent for my children. I remember a thread before where a couple of brides were mentioning something they use to keep the smell away. Does anyone have any suggestions ? FM me if you don't want to post. Thanks

My Fh is a big time smoker...I kick him out of the house to smoke outside but most of the time he sneaks out to the bathroom...I just have those plug in oils in my bathroom...

I use febreeze all the time as well. But I just keep smelling it. Does anyone of a good air purifier. Or do they actually work?

i agree with the Febreeze!!! it's AMAZING!! FH and i are 'social' smokers--and sometimes if we hang out with friends and they smoke--that smell stays on the clothes. i think febreeze is the best thing to eliminate the odors.
anything with citrus in it, can help with the odors as well.

I have an air purifier called Heaven Fresh in my office - EVERYONE that walks in my office says 'Wow! It smells like fresh rain in here' I have one with the fan and one without. I like the one with the fan better, if you don't mind the 'white noise' of the fan humming. They are VERY reasonably priced. I have the really super-duper Sharper Image ones at home and I don't think they do any better of a job. http://www.heavenfresh.ca/catalog/xj2100.php
ETA: We don't smoke, I just have allergy issues, so I'm not 100% sure how great it eliminates smoke specifically.

it may sound wierd but, if my mom just cooked fish, she peels an orange and basically cooks the peel.. it totally eliminates the odor.
