My DH is a braniac but yet he can't figure out how to wrap a square box. What's the deal with men and gift wrapping? It's seriously not that hard, unless you're trying to wrap some obscurely-shaped item (and that's what those gift bags are for!)

my dh actually does a beautiful job, I must say. I wrap the gifts for him terrible but when I give gifts to others outside our immediate family I do an awesome job too.

Actually my husband is quite skilled at it. Unlike my mom, he is not into ribbons & tags & other embellishments,b ut he used to work ina bookstore & says he can wrap anything 'shaped like a book'. He is also really detailed & particualr , so his boxes are always tighter & neater than mine.
he doesn't do the gift bag thing though. If it is something with bizzarre shape, he oes an equally bizare wrapping job, attaching together different size peices & such.

Man am I the unlucky one Actually, DH DOES give me wrapped gifts, but what he'll do is order all the gifts online, and then pay the extra money to have them gift wrapped. Sneaky little bugger.....

I don't know, but DH is awful!!! I don't understand why it doesn't look neat EVER... Plus, he's told me that his SIL is a super origami wizard type wrapper and that it's not unusual for a gift come with a full-size peacock made entirely of tissue paper and curling ribbon. Then he went ahead and wrapped our presents for his side of the family on his own!!!!! How embarrassing is this Christmas going to be!?

DH is a FANTASTIC gift wrapper! It's pretty weird! But he does have an obsession of wrapping gifts with the funnies ...

My DH has to be the 2nd most amazing wrapper I've ever seen... second to his Dad!
They are both insanely neat and anal, and I've never seen such exquisitely wrapped gifts with bows and tags! I mean I'm not a bad wrapper, but my DH and FIL are amazing! They're professionals I swear!

my dad is the best gift wrapper i have ever seen. i am so spastic at wrapping that i am embarrassed to give the gifts sometimes. fh is a great wrapper as well, i don't know how they do it.

he tries to wrap them. i dont know what he's doing. but its cute when you get a big ole wrinkly mess and it was just a plain square box.

ohhhh yes he wraps if you call rolling the gift in paper and securicing w/ duct tape wrapping!
