I already know where it is going to be (Milleridge Inn), but I don't know the exact date. I would rather know about it than be surprised.

Mine will be 6/29 at my house. My daughter is one of my BM. FH & I will go out east to his parents summer place and will not come back until that day (Sun). The set up will be a surprise. I got a new gas grill for b-day/engagement gift last year so it will be perfect.

Mine won't be a surprise, nor did I want it to be.

(I'm not a big fan of surprises. I used to carefully unwrap my christmas gifts at 3 in the morning and then tape them back up so I could re-open them later. )

Besides, the shower is being catered at my home, at my request, so I need a heads-up. Gotta' make sure the place is clean! I even 'approved' my invites.

I didn't want a surprise and let my bridesmaids/mom know. They asked which weekend was good for me ( I work 1-2 weekends a month), so next Sunday it is!

I can never be surprised. I get this sixth sense about things like that. When ever I had a surprise party I knew. When I get a present, I can figure it out by holding it.

Yes I will have help! By then my FH will be living here so he will help as well as my daughter. Then FH & I will go out east for the weekend and come home to my shower.....lol

Ooohh...That's good!!! At least you get a nice 'getaway' before the shower! You have no choice but to 'not help' at that point.

I'll probably be at home giving myself zits over whether the place is presentable or not!

I had to know about mine, can't really surprise me when I have to come up from Florida. I did not know many details though.

I like when things like that are a surprise, but I don't know if it will be with my MOH. (She can't hide things from me to well- she gets too excited). She has already said stuff to me about my bachelorette party, so I don't really see her keeping my shower a secret.

YES!!! I would love for it to be a surprise! I didn't think I would care until last summer my sister (MOH) had a surprise engagement BBQ for us and it was so wonderful being surprised.

My sister keeps telling me there is no way it can be a surprise b/c the wedding is in Aug and my brothers wedding is in June (lots to do) so I think she is planning for July...........unless she surprises me and does it BEFORE June

I don't want to be suprised...I hate being surprised. I made my BMs tell me everything (the shower is on Saturday - yay!). Now I am going crazy trying to figure out who bought me which gifts off my registry...I don't like not knowing these things.

I don't want to be surprised, but my sister really wants me to be. I don't think they'll be able to surprise me anyway, since my wedding is in 53 days so that narrows it down to a few more weekends. Every time someone asks me to do lunch or go shopping or anything else, I'm going to be suspicious. I also don't want to show up with unwashed hair up in a clip, wearing my old ripped jeans and a sweatshirt. I would be moritified!!! lol

I told her I can know the day, but the place will still be a surprise, as will the guests and the gifts. I would really prefer it that way.

We'll see what happens....
