I wonder the same thing! I have an hour ride to the church! I don't want to look wrinkled when I get there!!

I guess it depends what material your dress is. I had a big ole dress and it did not crush though.

No- I don't think so- I've been in tons of bridal parties and of course have already gotten married and not one person had a 'crushed' dress....

I plan on laying down across the back seat!!! I definately do not want to be wrinkled!

The laying down idea is too funny!!!
I have also wondered this but I have a very short ride to the church - anout 3 minutes tops (the only reason I really need the limo is so I don't get wrinkled)

It doesnt get too bad - the limo driver will help you into the car and tell you how to get in to minimize wrinkling

my dress has a natural waist, so I am really worried, but my dear mom says that the satin is thick enough that it should not wrinkle.

Mine didn't - I was so paranoid it would too! my gown was organza and it was fine

Satin dresses sometimes do.

Mine was tulle so no

My dress was matte satin, and yes, it did wrinkle a little.

Also, my limo driver was NO help at ALL in getting me in or out of the car. So I wouldn't count on that, just in case.

It wasn't so wrinkled that it looked bad, but it didn't stay perfectly smooth for very long.

Don't worry about it! You won't even THINK about it. Trust me....

I don't mean to add to your worries but while we were looking at wedding albums at the photographer's studio I noticed one bride's gown was badly wrinkled. When I commented, the photographer says he recommends that brides buy a steamer and drop it off at the caterer the day before. They will have it in your bridal room and you can steam your dress before entering your reception. Seems like a lot of trouble, but the gown I saw was not pretty.
Also, be sure the steamer is new. You don't want that black stuff shooting out onto your gown. If you don't use it, naturally, dear Mom can return it to the store while you are on your honeymoon. That's what we will be doing for my daughter's wedding.
