DOG FOOD RECALLS!!!!

Menu Foods announced Saturday it was recalling dog food sold under 48 brands and cat food sold under 40 brands. The food was distributed throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico by major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Kroger and Safeway.
The recall is limited to 'cuts and gravy' style pet food that was sold in cans and pouches.
Meanwhile, two other companies -- Nestle Purina PetCare Co. and Hill's Pet Nutrition Inc. -- voluntary recalled some products made by Menu Foods as a precaution.
The recalled brands are:

ETA: We JUST pulled Cooper off a Hill's brand food about 3 weeks ago before the recall... YIKES!

HAHA! I was thinking too, thank God Cooper has such stomach issues that he needs to eat special food.... geez! I feel so bad for some of these people!

we just threw away a few cans of science diet which were on the list!! i heard that a few pets died of kidney failure!!

i was so scared i cuddled with the kitties for an hour last night making sure they were ok!

Its so scary to think of this right now...by FH dog and cat both had brain problems...and he swore by Science Diet....there is no way to see if they are connected now...but just a thought...that BOTH died of brain aneurysm and seizures
He thought it was something in the house they were eating or their water...
