Dog food recomendations

Can anyone recommend a good dog food?
I have my dog on Iams which I heard is bad, and all of a sudden she's not a fan of it.

It seems like a lot of the girls on here like Wellness. On other websites, it seems like Canidae, Innova, and Solid Gold are favorites. I am feeing Canidae right now and my pup seems to be doing very well.

Honestly, you really have to try a few to see if your dog does well on a specific one. Yes this does take time especially since you have to ween him off each one gradually.

When we first got Baby we had her on Eukanuba puppy. She was doing fine on it and liked it as well. Then FH started researching dog foods an a pet message board and comparing ingredients and reading reviews. Mostly holistic foods (human grade). He decided on Eagle Pack. We used to drive from Queens to Wantagh to the only pet store that carried it. Needless to say, Baby didn't do well on it...she almost stopped eating completely and had loose stools. We tried Diamond as well. These seemed to be holistic faves.

Ultimately, we switched her back to Eukanuba she does well on it and she loves it. So it was a big waste of time and $$$.

Moral of the story: When ya find something your dog does well on...stick to it. What works for others may not work for your dog.

Nutro Natural Lamb and Rice is very good and it is supposed to be good in case they have itchy skin.
