for those of you who have dogs what are you planning on doing with them the day of your wedding? are you kenneling if you're leaving for your HM right away?

well my FFIL will be staying with them the night of and for the whole time we are on our honeymoon ... though i keepasking if we can take my abby with us ... but he says no

She is spending 2 weeks at my parents! Yikes! They love her so we hope to get her back!

My dogs will be with my parents or FILs while we are on the honeymoon, but I'm really not sure about the night of the wedding yet!

My dog lives with my parents so no worries for the HM. The day of my parents are stopping back at the house in between to let him out for a little bit. My dog won't go to the kennel so we have to find a sitter for him when we aren't around.
I know you love your dog, but you don't want to have to worry about him that day -- I would kennel him so he is settled!

yes i totally love my dog, i cry when i have to bring her to the kennel. i'm such a dork! thankfully her kennel is where we sent her for training and she loves the people there.
i'm thinking she's going to have to go in the the day before the wedding until after the HM, our families won't take her! i hope they dont feel the same way about their grandchildren!!!!!!

I think I'm going to ask a friend to stay at our apt the night of and then have my mom take them for the rest of the 2 weeks.

Our dog will stay at my parents house that night, and my mom is asking her assistants sister to come and let them out and feed them. My parents aren't staying at the hotel, so, as long as someone comes to let them out once and feed them, they'll be fine!
For the HM, we're leaving her with my parents, too. We could put her in the doggy hotel, but, I figured she'd rather be with my parents, and, it will save us a few hundred dollars.

we're planning to leave my pup at Running Paws in the city. He loved the doggie daycare there and the people are wonderful. I'm a crazy dog owner who calls 3x a day to see how buddy is doing and they dont mind at all!

well i am having trouble figuring out what i want to do with my puppy
i dont like the idea of putting him in a kennel for 2 days he has never been in one before. because my mom said if i do i have to bring him the day before my wedding that means he wont be sleeping with me the night before but my mom said we shouldnt have to worry about him the morning of. and that fh cant be worried about bringing him either since he needs to drive the car to the hotel and back and get ready ughh
but my parents have a dog as well so if i board my dog we are boarding my parents dog and mine together because my dog would prob die if they werent togther but i might just end up asking my neighbor's son to let them out and feed them and then let them out in the morning before we get home since i want to sleep in after the wedding
but during the honeymoon- my parents are watching him!!!

I need to kennel my dog from the day before my wedding, since the ceremony's at 1 and we are startinf pics at 11 - 11:30 ... can't count on FH getting here there first thing in the Am .... and we will need to board her until the following Sunday ... hate it .... I will FM'ing some of you for a good kennel!!!

well, for the day of the wedding I think we will be putting the dog in a kennel.... we feel real bad b/c we have never done that with the dog b/4, she we are trying to see what our other options are!
While we are on our honeymoon the doggie will be staying with FILs
