Since there are a couple of dog posts, I was wondering if anyone knows of anyone who (or knows if some of the other people already recommended) would pick our dogs up from our ceremony and watch them during our reception. Our dogs are going to be inthe wedding (ring bearers) but they cannot stay during the reception (and it would be pretty cruel to make them try to behave with all that food around). Unfortunately, all of our friends and family will be with us!! and i don't want to ask one of them to take the dogs back to the house. but i really don't want to worry about them. Does anybody know someone who would do something like this?? We live in Stony Brook and our wedding is in Oakdale. Thanks.

I just had to read this JoRo. I'm going to have to board my dog while I am at my wedding and HM. I am so upset about it. She can't come to NY from FL because there is no one there to watch her and I am going on my honeymoon. I love that you are using the doggies as ringbearers that is so precious!!

balilove and avesur, i am so sorry that your dogs cannot come to the ceremony. i feel so lucky that my parents have been so good to let us bring them up for the week (we live in DC) and then we are actually taking them on our HM with us i know we are crazy. they are just our children. plus, we are staying in a cabin in the mountains for HM so it is perfect for dogs. I am excited to have them be in the ceremony but i am a little stressed about who will take them home afterwards (i just want to plan it so none of the guests have to leave and i don't have to worry!) Thanks again girls for all of your suggestions!

Hey! I'm doing this as well. I think I'm going to pay one of my younger sisters friends to take him to the ceremony then bring him back to my mothers house after.
There isn't anyone maybe a neighbor or someone's teenager that would do it for some extra cash?
