Is anyone having their dogs as part of their wedding ceremony?? My friend did this, she had her little yorkie in it, so I am thinking of the same.
He is a little 6 pound Chihuahua. We are getting married at the place so I figure I will bring a cage and keep him in the bridal suite during the party. I just can't picture not having him.
Thoughts?

Re: Dogs in Ceremony
We really wanted to include our 2 dogs in the ceremony but with all the logistics, it wasn’t worth the extra stress.
We are planning to take photos with them during our trash the dress session. We have a 65lb Lab and 70lb Boxador. Maybe I can have them do a tug-a-war with the dress.

Re: Dogs in Ceremony
I wish we could but our church will not allow it. I would like to include her in pictures before the ceremony. I couldn't imagine not including her in some way, she is such an important part of our lives.

We have a cat and we would love to have him in the ceremony, but it just wouldn't work.

I have seen a lot of articles where the bride and groom have pets in their wedding, it's so cute! I would love to but the church wouldn't allow it... if you can do it, go for it!

I really want to incorporate my dog in the ceremony. But I probably won't. It all depends if my church allows it as well. I haven't asked them yet. But by seeing everyone else's answers. I have a feeling it will be a NO. We are trying to incorporate my dog in our Epics and perhaps take pictures with him b/f the ceremony at home.

Re: Dogs in Ceremony
I am the biggest animal person. FH and I spoke about having his brother's dog who we all love be the ring bearer. Turns out that is not possible because they had to put her to sleep :( but we decided that it would be a logistic nightmare anyway. Someone would have to run her back to our house after the ceremony because there was no way the rehearsal hall would let her stay (if they would even let her be at the ceremony)
